1. Tap “Add medication”, type the name or scan the box with the camera. 2. Choose the times and which days you take it. 3. Save. At each time your iPhone speaks the reminder in your language, even on the lock screen. 4. After taking it, tap the green button “Tap when taken”. Not yet taken? You will be reminded again after 10 and 20 minutes.
• The silent switch (or the Action button set to silent) mutes all reminders. Silent means silent: please turn silent mode off. • Turn the volume up. • Settings → Notifications → DoseHalo: allow notifications and turn on Sounds and Time Sensitive Notifications. With Time Sensitive on, reminders also play in Do Not Disturb. • In the app, Settings → “Test reminder” rings after 10 seconds and shows what is wrong.
Open the medication, check the times, and check that the days (every day / certain weekdays / certain days of the month) are right. Medications not due today are listed in the blue box at the bottom of Today.
If you are told to skip a medication for one day, tap “Skip today” under the green button. This stops the reminders for that dose today and is not counted as a missed dose. Tap the grey label to undo.
A family member installs DoseHalo, taps “I help a family member”, and creates an invitation code. You enter the code once on your iPhone. From then on your family member can add and change your medications remotely and is notified when a dose is not confirmed.
Premium is €3.99 per month or €29.99 per year with a 7-day free trial (prices vary by country). It is billed by Apple and renews automatically until cancelled. To cancel: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → DoseHalo. Cancelling during the trial costs nothing. To restore a purchase on a new phone, open Settings in the app → “Already bought? Tap to restore”.
Settings → “Delete all data” removes all medications, records and settings from this iPhone. If you use family features, deleting your account in the Family section also removes your data from our servers within 30 days.
